Job Purpose:
The Sales Manager is responsible for developing the sales team, coordinating sales operations and implementing sales techniques that allow the business to meet and surpass its sales targets consistently.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall running of the sales team
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans that expand a company’s customer base and solidify its presence
- Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the team and by assessing theteams’ strengths and weaknesses
- Establishing productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts and memberships
- Building and promoting healthy, long-lasting relations with existing and new customers
- Developing and implementing new sales initiatives
- To manage the Sales team to achieve the above, through:
- The setting of objectives for all team
- Conducting regular 1 2 1’s
- Performance management
- The support and development of the team
Job Requirements
- BSC degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Power Engineering, Electro-Mechanical (Required)
- At least 5 years of experience in related field (Required)
- Proven working experience in enterprise Sales/technical support
- Expert use of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel) (Required)
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering (Required)
